There’s obviously a plethora of factors that go into getting stretch marks during pregnancy. And quite frankly, although some products can help, there are too many factors to say that a single product can prevent stretch marks altogether. So with that said, these are just the two products that I have used, aside from genetics.
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter “Tummy Butter”
- 7$ at Walgreens but can be found at a lot of other stores!
- The consistency is really thick, it’s like a hardened balm not a lotion.
- I apply it all over my belly but focus it on my hip area and around my belly button.
- I apply it by massaging it into my belly in circular motions to increase the elasticity in my skin.
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter “Baby Oil”
- 10$ at Target
- It’s an oil but it is non-greasy and very light
- I use this when I’m feeling too lazy to scoop the tummy butter
- I add a few drops of this to my daily facial moisturizer because it has Vitamin E, it has completely gotten rid of my flaky/dry patches, and uneven skin tone.
- I can’t wait to add this to Baby Chachere’s bath routine!
